Excited to start this project on this challenging tiered and sloping bed rock site to build two four bedroomed detached homes in this most favoured residential area.


April  2018 - Site Clearance

General site clearance, establish levels,  dig out to form working platform areas and set out for construction of retaining walls.

May – July 2018 - Rear retaining walls & patio areas

Working platform areas shaped & levels established we start building the retaining walls to hold & tie together the patio slab areas & rear access steps- due to the design layout of the plots & steepness of the site we build out from Back to front constructing the rear retaining walls – patio areas & access steps first before we can set out & build the houses.


July – August 2018 -  Site dig out & groundworks  

With the retaining walls & rear patio areas completed the site was dug out in preparation for side retaining walls & the garage slabs.  Photos also shows – Formworks to base reinforcement - Engineers design for rebar arrangement – toe & heel reinforcement – section through masonry wall with stem bar arrangement.

Sept- Oct 2018  - side retainers & build to 1st floor.

Garage slab prepared prior concrete - house walls built to 1st floor with stem rebars – bridging tie steels carrying first floor I joists – temporary build on decking & partially completed side steps built for rear dwelling access .

Nov – Dec 2018 - second floor joists to wall plate.

Photos show temporary build decking stacked out – second floor I joists laid – goal post steels erected & tied to front elevation walls – external & internal walls finished in readiness for wall plates.

Jan - Feb 2019 - roof installation

With trusses fixed to the wall plates at the rear - the front elevation roof sections are cut & fitted together in place.

Photos show - crane lifting trusses -  temporary ridge support - cut jacks to hip & valleys rafters –  front elevation window openings.

September 2019 - The finishing touches

Reflecting the same build standards - the interiors are finished with quality materials -  from high end kitchen fitments to quality sanitary ware - complementary porcelain floor & wall  tiles and decorated to a 1stclass finish.

January 2020 - patio areas

Patio areas laid - boundary fencing completed  - stainless & glass balustrades - complemented with superb sea views.
